Find the mods you want
First of all you need to find out which mods you want to add to the game. The mod has to be compatible with your current version of the game or else it won’t work. If you really want a mod you can also roll back your game’s version to an older one. Most mods will not work with the beta version installed. There is no Steam workshop integrated in the game as of yet, so you have to use certain websites where mod creators have uploaded their mods. There are currently two major sites to download mods from:
- nexusmods – The most popular mod database for Bannerlord at the moment.
- moddb – Has bigger modpacks but many of them are in development. So it’s a good place to see upcoming mods.
Installing the mods
There are two ways to add mods to your Bannerlord game. Using Vortex mod manager or installing them manually. I recommend installing the mods manually so you don’t have to bloat your computer with software. However it’s easier to use the Vortex mod manager if you are not very good with computers.
How to install mods manually
Time needed: 5 minutes.
-
Go to download page
Click on the mod so you appear at the page where you can download it. On Nexusmods you have to log in first and then click manual download.
-
Download all the mod files
Each mod will have different files to download. You have to follow the directions from the mod developer to install the particular mod you want. In this particular mod the Ronin Base file is required to be installed first for it to work. There are also sometimes optional files if you want even more features in the mod. For example this mod allows you to download the “start as a ruler” file if you want to start as a ruler or start as a vassal etc… So download all the files you want. You can also see the required game version for the different downloads. (Smaller mods requires only one download)

The downloaded file is usually a .rar file so you have to use a program like WinRAR or 7-zip to open it. Ttm57sl drivers for mac. Once it is opened you can see the module files.
